Rick Rodenbeck, DVM

Education: Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Rodenbeck grew up in Boerne and graduated from Boerne High School in 1978. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He moved back to Boerne and started working for Dr. Herbst and Dr. Focke, where he has continued to practice for the last 24 years.
Dr. Rodenbeck married Karol Ann Binford of College Station, Texas in 1987. Their 4 children are Reid born in 1988, Garrett born in 1992, Wyatt born in 1995, and Riley Ann born in 2002. Dr. Rodenbeck enjoys taking trips with the family, going fishing and wakeboarding at Medina Lake, and working around the house on his days off. His main interests were equine medicine during his early years in practice, but he has focused on small animal medicine and surgery for the last 10 years. Dr.Rodenbeck is a member of First Baptist Church here in Boerne, a former member and past president of both Boerne Bergesfest and the Kendall County Centurions Civic Club.
